Gloucester Green Market – Oxford Photographic Society Zine

This zine is the outcome of a photographic workshop led by Stewart Wall, featuring the work of participants who were members or guests of the Oxford Photographic Society.

All of the photographs were made on the same day in October 2025 at and around Gloucester Green Market in Oxford. The project demonstrates how a group of photographers can stand in the same place, at the same moment, and yet produce very different interpretations, stories, and visual approaches.

Together the photographs create a collective portrait of a place and time — a small slice of everyday life in Oxford recorded through multiple perspectives.

Published as part of the Future Heritage concept, the zine reflects the idea that ordinary moments today may become valuable historical records tomorrow. What we take for granted in the present can become a window into the past for future generations.
