Learning from the masters is a great way to develop our own photography. During this talk you will be introduced to a series of masterful photographers who are well known for great street photography.
Many of the photographers Stewart refers to he has photographed, such as Magnum Photographer Ian Berry, who he worked with on the Streets of Nottingham, David Hurn and Martin Parr. He also talks about Mary Ellen Mark who he met at the Birmingham Photography show and Daniel Meadows who Stewart visited at his home in 2015.
During this two-part talk, you will develop an understanding of:
- what drives these photographers,
- how they go about creating their work
- how you might adopt similar techniques for your own work
- and why street photography is so popular

If you wish to book either the lecture or workshop for your club or society please call Stewart on 0795 512 4000 or email at stewartwall01@gmail.com
A few examples of Kind words of feedback from Talks and Workshops
“Just to say thank you for the great day I had on our club Walkabout day with yourself in Grimsby. I found your introduction in the morning most interesting and encouraging to get out there and have a go”…. Janina
“I would just like say what a really enjoyable day you put on for us all” Mike
“I found your pre-talk highly informative and feedback given to the other participants was very constructive.
I think the amount of time given for shooting was about right and given the weather, we were incredibly lucky.
Group sizes were spot on as we were all able to take a variety of shots, with each member of each group having similar shots but often with a different interpretation” Jo
